rpattz and kstewart as bella and edward were blank and creepy pretty much the entire movie and creepy was deff not the tone of the book. Their entire relationship seemed to be based on nothing because they acted with no emotion. And edward was so awkward and not smooth it didn't convey the grace and prowess he seemed to hold in the book.
the cinematography was awkward and confusing.
the writing was terrible.
obviously the direction must have been horrible as well.
the films only redeeming qualities were its supporting cast and soundtrack.
jacob was adorable and actually good at being jacob it practically hurt me to see his decent acting chops killed next to kristen's blank stares and empty phrases.
also charlie and billy black had beats chemistry, and the only time i ever felt emotion the entire movie was when bella had to make charlie think she was leaving forever, and that was b/c charlie was sweet and ahhhmazing.
also the cullen family was good they all seemed to know their characters well and acted the part.
except jasper had this bug eyed deer in head lights look the entire time. freeakkay.
yeah the only reasons i have an once of respect left for rpattz is his evident understanding of folk music.
